Cunard’s Queen Victoria arrives in Belfast for dry dock refurbishment

Cunard’s ocean liner Queen Victoria arrived in Belfast Harbour on Tuesday for dry-docking at Harland & Wolff shipyard. The vessel is the largest ever cruise liner to ever dry-docked in a UK shipyard and the only ever Cunard ship to dry-dock in Belfast.

After canceling five siling Cunard announced that the planned return to service of Queen Victoria is now scheduled for June 5, 2022. Following completion of the dry dock, the vessel will start with a 16-day voyage from Southampton to Hamburg, Germany, looping through the Mediterranean with stops in Spain, Italy, Gibraltar, and more.

The cruise ship Aurora from P&O Cruises’ will also arrive in Belfast for dry dock refurbishment.
