DCL Altering Disney Wonder Itinerary Due to Tropical Storm Pamela

Submitted by kgnadmin on

October 13, 2021 was supposed to be the day for Disney Wonder’s stop in the port of Cabo San Lucas, but the tropical depression, expected to become Tropical Storm Pamela in the Pacific Ocean affected the itinerary and forced the ship to make a last-minute change and replace the port with a stop in Ensenada.

“We have been closely monitoring a tropical depression that is forecasted to become Tropical Storm Pamela by this afternoon. Based on the most recent weather forecast, it is unlikely that we will be able to call on Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Wednesday. Therefore, we have modified your itinerary by replacing Cabo San Lucas with a stop in Ensenada, Mexico.” DCL statement reads.

The forecast models indicate that between October 12 and 13, Tropical Storm Pamela will cause heavy rains, powerful winds and high waves during its path along the coast of Los Cabos.

The company took care of all the adventure reservations for that port, by canceling them and automatically refunding the money to their passengers. It is also settled if the guests show interest in enjoying the Ensenada shore excursions; they can do it through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

Disney Wonder adjusted October 11, itinerary now looks like this:

Monday – San Diego, California

Tuesday – Day at Sea

Wednesday – Ensenada, Mexico

Thursday – Day at Sea

Friday – San Diego, California
