Carnival Cruise Line’s Vice President of Beverage Operations Edward Allen, has left the company last Friday. Eddie allegedly left to pursue opportunities outside of the company effective immediately.

The news of Eddie’s departure comes as a surprise, leaving many wondering the reason why he left the position suddenly. After the shock departure, Carnival is working to find a replacement. 

Edward Allen was named VP of Beverage Operations back in 2011, overseeing the operation of all bars, lounges and nightclubs across Carnival’s fleet, including overall management, training.

Eddie has been instrumental in the evolution of the Beverage Program, introducing the CHEERS beverage package aboard Carnival ships. His accomplishments include the implementation of the shipboard brewery program as well as growing and developing proprietary brands Alchemy, Parched Pig Seltzer, and Pig and Anchor.
