Foo Fighters to perform on a cruise ship

Super Bowl Weekend has invited Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons, and the Roots to perform on a cruise ship ahead of the Super Bowl.

The bands will perform on the Norwegian Getaway Bud Light Hotel, which will be docked at Pier 88 in Manhattan on the Hudson River. Hip-hop group The Roots will take over the ship with Run D.M.C. and Busta Rhymes on 30 January (14), and Radioactive hitmakers Imagine Dragons will also perform.

The weekend will end with the Super Bowl on 2 February (14) at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where Bruno Mars will serve as the half-time performer.

NCL Getaway is currently under construction in Germany. The ship is scheduled to sail to Rotterdam in Holland on January 10, and crosses the Atlantic ocean to New York, arriving on January 26, hosting preview cruises for media and travel agents Jan. 27-29, before being turned over to Bud Light Floating Hotel. The cruise ship will have capacity for 4,000 guests.
