The former Celebrity Solstice manager Jurgen Ammerstorfer was appointed general manager of Trafalgar Hotel. This exquisite hotel is located in the heart of London on Trafalgar Square overlooking some of London’s most iconic landmarks.

Jurgen started his hospitality management career back in 1999 as a management trainee at the Luxury Collection Sheraton Kuwait. His experience in hospitality include companies such as Intercontinental Hotel Group in Austria, Hilton Worldwide and some of the leading hotels in the world The Westgate Hotel and Preferred Hotels- Plaza on the River & Riverbank and Victoria Park Plaza. As a general manager he opened the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in the Middle East, Jordan, Aqaba.

He achieved industry-wide recognition onboard Celebrity Solstice as the cruise ship was ranked number one by Travel Weekly for ‘Best Cruise Ship Worldwide’.
