Rohan Goes - Team India Captain at the World Photographic Cup from Cuncolim, GOA will be representing Team India at the World Photographic Cup 2022 in Rome, Italy. Team India is invited in person to Rome for the Grand Ceremony. World Photographic Cup is like Olympics for the photographers and this year 35 countries have participated. Each country can have only one team. Team India is under the leadership of Rohan Goes and they have two awards in Best of Nation & Top ten finalists in Portrait Category. Chances of winning medals.
The multitalented former cruise ship crew member, who gained massive experience aboard five Aida Cruises ships as a Photographer, shares his passion and importance of traveling and photography in his book “How Did I Travel to China: The Big White Journey”.
“Working on a cruise ship as a Photographer helped me to get exposure to different countries and their culture. Also exchanging ideas with the photo Team from different countries widen the thinking in Photography,” says Mr. Goes.
This is the second time Rohan is representing team India at the World Photographic Cup 2022 as a Team Captain. He came across this contest while following a Mexican photographer who won a Gold medal in 2017. Rohan is a member of United Asian Professional Photography (UAPP) and also GettyImages Photographer. Team India participated for the very first time in 2021 making a debut in World Photographic Cup.
This is like Olympics for the photographers. There are six categories and 3 medals in each category. Highest scoring team wins the Trophy.
Rohan and his team members have to travel to Rome, Italy and they are looking for sponsors to support their travel & accommodation for this event.

World Photographic Cup is a competition among professional photographers from around the world. Rohan made history by taking Team India to represent for the first time in 2021 which it was an unforgettable experience and leading Team India gives him immense pleasure to take professional photographers to the international level. There is only one team for each country and Rohan is proud to represent Team India.
The World Photographic Cup is governed by an international committee supported by FEP, PPA, AIPP and UAPP. WPC, World Photographic Cup, the only competition that brings together the worldwide photography community in an Olympics-style competition. World Photographic Cup is an international event where Professional Photographers from different countries compete in six categories namely Commercial, Illustration / Digital Art, Nature (Landscape/Wildlife), Portrait, Reportage / Photojournalism, Wedding. 38 Countries participated in 2021. Best three entries in each category wins the medal (Gold, Silver and Bronze). The team with the highest number of medals wins the World Photographic Cup.
