Fred Olsen Boudicca Enters Dry Dock in Germany

Fred Olsen cruise ship Boudicca, arrived from the British port of Tyne in German Bremerhaven for scheduled maintenance. This month the cruise ship will undergo dry dock renovation in Lloyd Werft shipyard in preparation for the upcoming cruise ship season.

It is reported that during the planned renovation various engineering work will be performed. In particular, on the Lido Deck 7. Additional external and internal appearance of the ship will be carried out. After completing the dry dock, Boudicca will st sail to the next cruise route: London, England (30 November), Vigo, Spain - Casablanca, Morocco - Tenerife, Canary Islands - St. Cruz de La Palma, Canary Islands - Funchal Madeira - Porto, London, England (December 14).

Mike Rodwell, Managing Director of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“We experience extremely high demand for balcony cabins across our fleet, in particular on a smaller-sized ship such as Boudicca, and our new terrace balcony cabins are an innovative response to this.

“We installed the new terrace balcony cabins on sister ship Black Watch during her dry dock last Autumn, and these have proved very popular with our guests.”

Boudicca can accommodate up to 900 passengers and 320 crew members. On board there is everything for a perfect holiday, including cafes, bars, restaurants, swimming pools, a spa, a sauna, a casino, gym, conference hall, shops and much more.
