Bolette, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ new flagship started its inaugural season of sailings from Southampton.
It is planned from now, until August 2022 for Bolette to offer 26 hand-crafted sailings from the UK port, including opportunities to witness the Northern Lights in Norway and the Geminid Meteor Shower in the Canary Islands. Currently, the cruise ship is doing the five-night ‘Netherlands & Belgium City Break,’ including the Amalfi Coast, Norwegian Fjords, European cities and Iceland, in four to 19-nights cruises.
“Bolette’s inaugural program from Southampton has been hand-crafted to offer guests aboard some really special opportunities. Whether that’s seeking out the phenomenal Northern Lights, discovering the history of the Balkan regions or sailing into the heart of the Norwegian fjords to witness their beauty direct from the ship,” said Martin Lister, Head of Destination Experience and Itinerary Planning.
This ship is named after the great-great-Grandmother of the company Chairman Fred. Olsen Junior. It has a capacity of 1,338 guests, giving a small ship experience.
