Futuristic yacht design revealed by Blohm + Voss

Zaha Hadid known for creating some of the most eye-catching buildings, puzzles, and highly recognizable all over the world introduced its new range of concept yachts designed for Blohm + Voss.

The concept named " Unique Circle Yachts ", is a new line of superyachts including five 90m motor yacht , inspired by a concept of 128m "mother ship" . The fluid sculptural form of the mother ship 128m yacht  includes a network of woven mesh dynamics that make up the outside. By eliminating the typical superstructure - strict is the order of the deck horizontal stacking - an exoskeleton and bridges connecting the various levels of 128m.

Blohm + Voss then took this concept and have built with their naval architects the technical specifications of yacht design, creating a series of five unique yachts. The first of the five designs of 90m to be introduced is known as the " Jazz ". Blohm + Voss and his team of Zaha Hadid have worked closely together to make the design feasible.

The result is a yacht that has full continuity between inside and outside, with the reticular layer of the exterior follow the transparency and light.

But this connectivity goes beyond the phrase often used to "bring the outside inside." The fluid design is appreciated aesthetically as well as the plot, which creates a seamless whole from the hull to the dome of maneuver of the interior spaces, where the unique forms serve as structural supports. While the design team describes poetically the interior, the outdoor spaces seem to be consistent and monolithic, as if bent by a single surface.
The Jazz 90m has been designed with a radius of 16 m, a draft of 4.2 m, and can accommodate 12 people and 30 crew members. It is expected to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and 14 cruising range with a range of 5,000 nautical miles, powered by twin 2,160 kW diesel engines.
