Holland America Line released "Countdown to Koningsdam" video, highlighting arrival of the officers and crew in Fincantieri shipyard. Hosted by MS Koningsdam cruise director, Johnathan Rogers, the video features Stan Kuppens - Hotel Director, who talks about the crew arriving at the shipyard in Marghera, for loading supplies and preparing the cruise ship for delivery as engine, deck, and hotel officers make their way to Italy. "The officers and crew are the heart of our ships, and we wouldn't be able to fully prepare for Koningsdam's delivery without their support and dedication," said Holland America Line's president, Orlando Ashford. "The ship is nearing delivery, and we know our fans will enjoy seeing the crew at the shipyard working on final preparations." Prior to delivery Koningsdam will have 350 crew and officers, making final preparations for the ships maiden voyage. In addition to loading supplies and fitting the ship for delivery, crew members will assist with washing linens, cabin inspections, and getting fitted for uniforms.
