Hong Kong eases cruise ship capacity to 75%

Nov 29, 2021

The Hong Kong authorities announced that Dream Cruises Genting Dream will sail with increased capacity. Starting from the first of December, the vessel will welcome 25% more of the current guest capacity. The “Super Seacation” cruises can carry up to 2500 passengers, according to the latest health ruling allowance.

No incidents related to Covid-19 were reported, as the cruise line stated since the company resumed cruises on 30 July, with the number of 70,000 passengers welcomed on Genting Dream. With this last change, the company now reopens ticket sales for these high season cruises, since the previous 50% of the maximum capacity was all sold out.

“A Nordic Christmas Adventure” is the spirit that will guide these seasonal festive cruises, with vast opportunities to explore the age-old traditions of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Iceland, including the focus on the Nordic village and marketplace. The tickets are already on sale and will continue until 1st of January.
