TUI Cruises has resumed sailings from Hong Kong after a three-year hiatus, becoming the first German cruise line to do so. The Mein Schiff 5 arrived at the port of Hong Kong as part of its "Singapore with Hong Kong" voyage on March 8th, greeted with a traditional dragon and lion show. Wendy Chung, Deputy Commissioner for Tourism of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Kenneth Wong, General Manager, MICE & Cruise Hong Kong Tourism Board, presented Captain Andreas Greulich and Senior Head of Port Management & Operations Marcus Puttich with a plaque to commemorate the ship's first call.

TUI Cruises will offer several trips with the Mein Schiff 5 from Singapore and Hong Kong in the winter of 2023/24. On March 9th, after the ship's impressive entry into Victoria Harbour, guests experienced the Symphony of Lights, one of the largest light shows in the world. The Mein Schiff 5 will embark on two unique voyages to South Korea and Japan to Hong Kong on March 29th, 2023. The Asia season of Mein Schiff 5 will end on May 10th, 2023 with the "Singapore to Dubai" voyage, and the 2023/24 Asian season will begin on December 20th, 2023.

Wybcke Meier, CEO of TUI Cruises, said, "With the restart in Asia, we have also returned to normal in the winter travel areas. Our guests accepted this offer with great enthusiasm. Especially in these times, our cruises score with stable prices and excellent value for money. We are all the more pleased that we can also offer many trips from Singapore and Hong Kong in winter 2023/24."Image removed.
