Indonesian Crew Rescued by US Cruise Ship

Indonesian media reports that Nine crewmembers are found floating in the waters of the Bali Strait by a US Cruise ship SLV Love Song. Their boat Puger  hit a reef in East Java and sank. The Crewmembers were evacuated to a nearby island archipelago Kangean, and treated at the Health Center Arjasa

The owner of the company said the crew were recovering and would be evacuated to Kalianget, Sumenep, where they will be picked up and taken home.

“We immediately dispensed medicine and food supplies as they all sustained minor injuries because they were in the water for two days,”shipping company spokesperson said.
