James Cameron plans to make movie about Costa Concordia

After Titanic next is Costa Concordia for James Cameron. The leading Hollywood director would like to bring to the big screen the tragedy of the cruise ship wrecked of the 'island of Giglio Jan. 13, 2012. I do not like movies, though, but asdocumentary, perhaps with the collaboration of the National Georgaphic Channel, with whom Cameron has already worked in the past for other documentaries.

James Cameron has already made a preliminary swim around the wreck of the ill-fated Costa Concordia cruise liner, trying to picture in his mind’s eye the most dramatic way to frame doomed passengers

Cameron promises much of the script will include actual transcripts from Captain Schettino’s SOS call, including lines such as, “Wait that ‘going down with the ship’ thing was for serious?” and “Oh, I thought you were steering!”

The Canadian director, Giovanna Grassi said "I've always followed with interest the story of the cruise ship sank on January 2012 and a year ago I also did extensive research on the dynamics of the accident, said Giovanna Grassi. The time now is still very focused on the second round of Avatar, but I have followed all the steps of the righting of the boat, the fate of which intersects in a strong way with that of the Titanic. "

In addition to the film dedicated to the tragedy of the British ocean liner sunk in 1912 was the protagonist of a descent intothe Mariana Trench , the deepest point of the Earth.

For documentary about Concordia he is already thinking where to turn, perhaps in Mexico.Recently, it was also mentioned a participation ofTaylor Swift in the cast. One thing Cameron is keen to clarify the application: "I have the utmost respect for the victims. I'm interested in the facts, the way in which they have happened. certainly do not want to turn the story into fiction. "
