Lee Mason Promoted to Carnival's Fleet Cruise Director—Big Things Ahead!

Submitted by kgnadmin on

Cruise Director Lee Mason is stepping up in a MAJOR way, as Fleet Cruise Director for Carnival Cruise Line, taking over after Chris Williams parted ways with the role earlier in August. This isn’t just a regular promo—this is a whole new chapter for Lee, who’s been a part of the Carnival family since 2016!

You know him from ships like the Carnival Valor, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Glory, and the mega-popular Mardi Gras—oh, and let’s not forget, he was the FIRST cruise director for the stunning Carnival Celebration! Lately, he’s been rocking the Carnival Venezia, but now he’s got a whole fleet to look after. In his new role, Lee will be showing rookies the ropes, planning all those over-the-top activities Carnival guests love, and making a splash at ceremonies for the line’s brand-new ships.

Lee dropped the big news to his 65,000+ social media followers, and let’s just say, the fans are living for it! Mason now joins Carnival’s elite Fleet Cruise Director team, alongside names like Mike Pack, Chris "Donkey" Salazar, and Erin Weigand.

This promotion comes after Chris Williams, a Carnival icon who started as a singer and worked his way up to Fleet Cruise Director, decided to move on after 13 years of killer service. Williams was known for his guest-focused vision and creative ideas, and Mason’s getting some big shoes to fill—but if anyone can do it, it’s Lee!

Congrats to Lee Mason! Carnival fans are pumped to see what’s next for him, and we can’t wait for all the excitement he’ll bring to the fleet. Here’s to new adventures, Lee—you’ve earned it!
