Man dies after falling from Splendour of The Seas with life jacket

A 47 year old man died on Friday after falling from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Splendour of The Seas, which arrived at the Port of Santos on Sunday. At the time of the accident, the ship was in Uruguay.  Police are investigating the case and believes in the possibility of suicide. According to information from police, the victim, who was wearing a life jacket jumped from the 7th floor of the ship. A search team located the body shortly after the accident. Splendor of the Seas was on a seven-night itinerary that departed Saints on February 2, with stops in Punta del Este and Montevideo, Uruguay and Buenos Aires in Argentina.
