MSC Cruises has suspended all calls to Saint Petersburg, Russia for this year due to recent developments in the region and related security concerns.
The four ships that were scheduled to call at the port of St. Petersburg on their summer 2022 voyages (MSC Grandiosa, MSC Preziosa, MSC Poesia and MSC Virtuosa) will no longer call at the Russian city from late May to October due to the safety of guests and crew as a top priority, MSC Cruises said.
Since the current events began, the MSC Cruises has been in contact with alternative ports such as Stockholm, Helsinki or Tallinn in order to confirm the calls for the upcoming cruises. Travel agents and customers affected by the new regulations will be informed for each individual voyage as soon as possible.
MSC Cruises will also update its website to reflect the confirmed details of the new itineraries in a timely manner, in order to provide maximum clarity for both guests who have booked and those wishing to book a Baltic Sea cruise in the future.
