MSC pays tribute to Nelson Mandela

After the news of the death of Nelson Mandela, the MSC Cruises fleet will pay homage. At night, during the shows of the 12 ships in the MSC Cruises theater, there will be a minute's silence in memory of the life of Mandela. A South African flag will also be flown at half mast on MSC Opera and MSC Sinfonia, sailing in waters the region. The directors of both cruise ships will also praises tonight to remember the first black president of South Africa and its legacy. Typical country music will also be played. Mandela died on December 5, 2013 at his home in Houghton, Johannesburg, surrounded by his family. MSC Cruises welcomes a great man who defended freedom, hope, tolerance and peace, and defined a moral example not only for a nation.
