Two MSC Cruises ships departed simultaneously from the port of Genoa, Italy on a world cruise for the first time in history.

After difficult three years since the start of the pandemic and the amazing return back to cruising in 2022, the cruise lines have many reasons to celebrate this holiday season. 

After celebrating the first 100K followers on Instagram, MSC Cruises continues to focus on social media marketing and has also strengthened its presence on TikTok. At the christening ceremony in New York City MSC Cruises welcomed MSC Seascape, the 21st cruise ship to its fleet of innovative and glamourous ships. The naming ceremony took place at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in recognition of New York becoming MSC Cruise's newest U.S. homeport in April 2023, offering wider variety of North American itineraries for guests.

MSC Cruises' newest flagship MSC Seascape arrived today in New York City ahead of its naming ceremony which will take place on Wednesday evening.

MSC Cruises celebrated the delivery of its 21st cruise ship MSC Seascape, at Fincantieri Monfalcone shipyard. The delivery of MSC Seascape comes just days after the naming ceremony of the biggest ship in the fleet, MSC World Europa.

The naming ceremony of MSC World Europa, the first LNG-powered ship in MSC Cruises fleet, took place on Sunday, November 13, at the brand new Grand Cruise Terminal in Doha.

MSC World Europa, MSC Cruises' first LNG-powered and most environmentally advanced ship, arrived at Doha Port today, ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 starting on November 20, and the ship’s naming ceremony which will take place on November 13.

After an 11-day transatlantic voyage MSC Fantasia, the first cruise ship to open the 2022-23 Brazil cruise season, arrived today in Rio de Janeiro. As part of its Brazilian season, the MSC Fantasia is set to offer regular sailings from Santos, Sao Paulo, starting tomorrow, November 2. 

As the health situation related to COVID-19 continues to improve across the world, most cruise lines have started to relax the mask policy for the crew. Crew Center has talked to crew members working on several major cruise lines to find out what are the latest crew mask policies. Surprisingly most of them said that masks are now optional and not a requirement in all crew and guest areas.
