No More Formal Nights on Celebrity Cruises

According to the statements made by the company, the Celebrity Cruises Formal Nights will be replaced by more relaxed nights, at the beginning of next month.

Passengers traveling on board Celebrity Cruises ships from December 4th 2015, will have two chic nights, which replace formal nights on all cruises of 7 or more days duration, except for Celebrity Xpedition. This change comes at a time when the company is slowly moving the passenger experience on board their ships for something more casual.

The dress code for these nights, which replaced the formal nights, is the "smart casual," which is the recommended for most nights on board. The biggest and most noticeable change comes with the fact that it is no longer necessary and the fact recorded, however, shorts, T-shirts and torn jeans are not allowed in the main dining rooms in the chic nights.

According to company statements, these changes were necessary to be able to come up with a more casual and informal concept for vacationers. All dining rooms on ships will not change their menus, including the presence of the famous lobster in various dishes, it is the dress code that notice more changes.
