Norwegian Luna has officially been christened in Miami, marking a major milestone for Norwegian Cruise Line as it introduces its newest ship to the Caribbean fleet.
The ceremony, attended by over 2,000 guests, followed maritime tradition with the ceremonial bottle-breaking and a special performance by ELLE, the ship’s godmother and hull artist.
At 322 meters long and accommodating 3,565 guests, Norwegian Luna offers a mix of family-friendly attractions and adult-focused experiences. Highlights include the Aqua Slidecoaster, Luna Midway outdoor park, and immersive entertainment like “LunaTique™” and tribute shows celebrating iconic music.
The ship will sail Caribbean itineraries through 2027, visiting destinations such as Great Stirrup Cay and Harvest Caye, before transitioning to Bermuda cruises from New York.
With its blend of innovation, entertainment, and flexible vacation options, Norwegian Luna represents the next step in NCL’s evolution.
