A 44-year-old Georgia man was arrested after the cruise ship Carnival Glory returned to Port Canaveral, Florida, following allegations that he assaulted two children while they were playing aboard the ship.

The incident happened on Sunday as several children were running through one of the ship's corridors playing a game of tag. Authorities say the man, identified as David Crosby II, had been running alongside the children before he suddenly stopped and allegedly struck two of them.

Investigators allege Crosby punched one child in the face and another in the stomach. One child reportedly suffered a bloody lip and complained of a headache, while the second experienced abdominal pain after the incident.

The assault was captured by the ship's onboard security cameras, which investigators reviewed as part of their investigation.

According to law enforcement, Crosby appeared to be heavily intoxicated at the time. After the incident, he reportedly told authorities that he could not remember what had happened.

Following the ship's arrival at Port Canaveral, Crosby was taken into custody and booked into the Brevard County Jail, where he is being held without bond as the case proceeds.
