Royal Caribbean celebrates its 50 million guests

This summer, Royal Caribbean International is celebrating an important milestone in its 45-year history, hosting on board his fleet of 21 ships the fifty millionth guest. The special occasion will launch a year of celebrations in honor of the cruise line customers, business partners, employees and the entire crew.

"For over 45 years, the guiding principle of Royal Caribbean was to convey emotions - "WOW effect" - by offering experiences, services and facilities, unique and exclusive, "said Adam Goldstein, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. "The men and women on board our ships that will let you experience these emotions are those that drive our customers to come back on board, season after season."

Like a huge New Year's party, which will extend to all corners of the planet, each ship of the Royal Caribbean will celebrate this milestone with various festivities on board. The special event will mark the launch of an initiative that, throughout the year, will involve consumers, who will be asked to share the most unforgettable moments lived aboard Royal Caribbean ships over the years, posting photos, videos and stories on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram marking them with the hashtag # RoyalWOW.

"Every day on board our ships, guests from around the world create and live unforgettable moments, or as we called ourselves, moments 'WOW'," says Lisa Bauer, EVP, Global Sales and Marketing, Royal Caribbean International. "As we celebrate this important milestone, we would like to invite our passengers to relive those special moments and celebrate them with us by sharing their personal moments WOW signed Royal Caribbean."
