Royal Caribbean Invites Cancer Children Onboard Voyager of the Seas

A visit to a Royal Caribbean cruise ship brought joy of a group of children living with cancer in New Zealand. Voyager of the Seas hosted 20 children involved with Camp Quality which provides positive experiences for children living with cancer while the cruise ship was docked in Port Chalmers.

The children enjoyed riding the waves on the FlowRider and other activities that the ship has to offer with their families, and thanked Royal Caribbean for inviting them on board.

Sales manager for Royal Caribbean New Zealand Mark Kinchley said the company chose this charity organization because it was a "really good'' cause.

"Some of the kids that have been on board have been through multiple chemotherapy treatments and to see them enjoying themselves, you would never think [they had been through that],'' Kinchley said.
