Royal Caribbean to Order Another Oasis Class Cruise Ship

Richard Fain RCCL Chairman and CEO, announced that a deal for a third Oasis Class vessel is realistic and that company will confirm this by the end of the year. He said that if the new mega ship is ordered, it will set sail in 2016, after delivering of smaller cruise ships in 2014 and 2015. The official statement came in the company’s third-quarter earnings release, in which company said profits had dropped

"Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas have proven themselves to be exceptionally attractive ships by generating the highest guest satisfaction ratings in the fleet coupled with very compelling financial returns," Fain said during a conference call to discuss the third quarter earnings.

Rumors for the new Oasis Class cruise ship were first published by newspaper in Finland, the country where Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas were constructed.
