Regent Seven Seas has announced the appointment of Sarah Fabergé as the godmother of their newest ship, Seven Seas Grandeur. Sarah Fabergé, a founding member of the Fabergé Heritage Council and great-granddaughter of the legendary jewelry artist Peter Carl Fabergé, will christen the ship on December 10, 2023, during an exclusive gala event in Miami, Florida.

The christening ceremony promises to be a memorable one, enriched by the captivating performance of Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth. The Hollywood Walk of Fame honoree will entertain the distinguished guests, including loyal Regent patrons, esteemed travel partners, and VIPs, with a selection of songs from her repertoire, which spans pop, country, and Broadway genres.

"Andrea DeMarco, President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, expressed delight at having Sarah Fabergé serve as godmother to Seven Seas Grandeur, emphasizing the shared ethos and commitment to excellence that aligns with the heritage of perfection embodied by both brands. The collaboration between Regent and Fabergé is a celebration of artistry, luxury, and enduring craftsmanship," said DeMarco.

Sarah Fabergé expressed her honor at being named godmother to Seven Seas Grandeur, highlighting the parallel pursuit of excellence between the cruise line and the legacy of Peter Carl Fabergé. She also looks forward to joining guests aboard the ship for an exclusive Spotlight Voyage departing on July 1, 2024. The 10-night voyage, starting from Rome (Civitavecchia), will immerse luxury travelers in the world of Fabergé through masterclass programs, unique shore excursions, demonstrations of jeweled egg jewelry, and captivating talks and performances.

The elegant gala event in Miami on December 10 will witness the christening of Seven Seas Grandeur by Sarah Fabergé, followed by a three-night Caribbean cruise before the ship embarks on her inaugural Caribbean season from Miami.
