Shocking Video - Man Jumps Overboard Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas

The US Coast Guard is conducting search for a 35 year-old Brazilian man who fell from a cruise ship in the Caribbean Sea around 1 am on Friday. The man was sighted by crew already intending to jump overboard from the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas deck 7 hanging on a lifeboat ramp. According to a Royal Caribbean statement, ship's crew had seen the man coming up the side of the ship.

A passenger filmed the whole apparent suicide attempt, while others desperately tried to rescue the man. Crew attempted to grab him and pull him back to the deck without success and the man whose identity is not revealed fell into the sea.

"Because of this happened! Let go of me! Get off me," the man screamed in English in his final hours.

"Our report says that he jumped into the lifeboat and later fell into the water, but regardless of wha happened we are only concerned with finding him," said the official of the US Coast Guard, Petty Mark Barney.

The Royal Caribbean cruise ship, "Oasis of the Seas", was approximately 27 kilometers east of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The search is taking place in an area of 145 kilometers, according to the Coast Guard and covers an area north-east of Mayaguana in the Bahamas.

Two boats, one long-range helicopter and a plane to Hercules HC-130 rescue are used to conduct the search. The man was wearing a pink shirt and white shorts on the last time he was seen, according to US Coast Guard.
