Star Cruises Win the World Master Chefs Competition for Cantonese Cuisine

Star Cruises has announced that their chefs have won the Competition World Master Chefs Competition for Cantonese cuisine, sweeping away the competition with the award of three medals, including the Supreme Gold Medal in the Category "scultuta fruit and vegetables", and two gold medals Excellent Gold in the category "Hot Cooking".

Leading the team to victory in 5 Chef latter category was the Executive Chef of the Star Cruises, Lee Eng Heng, while the Supreme medal was earned thanks to Chef Liu Xing, star of the evening with his masterpiece ' Splendid Golden Peacock ', skillfully carved into the pumpkin.

The team was made up of:

Chef Chen Guan Yu Qing and Chef Like Chong, both highly capable chef with 16 years and 13 years of experience

their assistants: Chef Chef Xie Jing and Bin Lu Zi Hao.

Together they have against competition of more than 200 of the best restaurants from around the world, including China.

Ang Moo Lim , president of Star Cruises , said he was proud of its Chef for the result, due to a continued commitment to offer quality cuisine, in particular Chinese and Cantonese cuisine.

Specifically guests SuperStar Libra , which currently has as hompeport Haikou, and Star Pisces , which has homeport in Hong Kong, will taste the dishes rewarded in the prestigious competition.
