MSC Cruises latest flagship, MSC Seashore, is getting ready for the grand naming ceremony which will be held at the Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve on November 18. The giant new cruise ship has arrived at the new homebase in Miami on Sunday, after crossing the Atlantic Ocean. MSC Seashore is the company’s longest and the largest ship ever built in Italy, with a total capacity of 5,877 guests.
As per tradition, the Italian movie star Sophia Loren will once again hold the role of godmother for the sixteenth time of 19 ships in the MSC fleet. The celebrations will take place both on board and on the island, as the ship will remain moored throughout the night, with a gala dinner and live entertainment.
On November 20, MSC Seashore will kick off its winter season offering guests weekly departures from PortMiami for seven to 16-night voyages through the Bahamas and Caribbean.
