TAG Heuer Hosts Monaco Grand Prix Celebration On Luxury Cruise Ship

TAG Heuer, the Swiss luxury watchmaker renowned for its close ties to motorsport and Formula 1, hosted one of the most exclusive events of the Monaco Grand Prix weekend aboard the luxury expedition cruise ship Le Dumont-d'Urville.

Operated by the French cruise line Ponant, Le Dumont-d'Urville was transformed into a floating hospitality venue while docked in Monaco's iconic Port Hercule. The ship hosted TAG Heuer's VIP celebration, welcoming guests from the worlds of racing, entertainment, fashion, and business.

The event formed part of TAG Heuer's expanded presence at the Monaco Grand Prix following the brand's role as title partner of the legendary race. Guests enjoyed live entertainment, fine dining, and prime views of the Formula 1 circuit and Monaco harbor.

Le Dumont-d'Urville is one of Ponant's Explorer-class vessels, designed for luxury expedition cruising. The ship accommodates up to 184 guests and features elegant suites, gourmet dining venues, lounges, and a marina platform that provides direct access to the sea.

The use of a cruise ship as a venue highlighted the growing connection between luxury cruising and major sporting events. Positioned among Monaco's famous superyachts, Le Dumont-d'Urville provided a unique setting for one of the most talked-about gatherings of the Grand Prix weekend.
