Due to a technical issue the Brilliance of the Seas is making an early return to Sydney from its current voyage. During its eleven-day cruise in the South Pacific, which started on March 19, 2024, the ship was only able to make a stop at Lifou Island on March 22. Its visit to Noumea in New Caledonia on March 23 and all subsequent port calls have been canceled.

The world's largest cruise ship Icon of the Seas, rescued 14 Cuban rafters found adrift. The rescue unfolded on Sunday, as the Royal Caribbean International ship was en route to Honduras. 

Royal Caribbean Group has initiated the construction of its new office headquarters at PortMiami. The groundbreaking ceremony, which took place on February 1, marks the start of an ambitious project that includes a state-of-the-art 10-story office building, designed by the renowned architecture firm HOK, and a new multi-level parking garage. This development is expected to significantly enhance the PortMiami landscape by 2026.

 Royal Caribbean Group has emerged as the sole bidder for the future Terminal G at the Port of Barcelona, marking it the only contestant in the bidding process. The cruise giant has seized the opportunity to undertake the construction and operation of the terminal spanning 54,000 square meters with a 450-meter-long quay capable of accommodating the world’s largest cruise ships, such as the recently inaugurated Icon of the Seas.
