Windstar Cruises completed the last of their three all-suite Star Plus Class yachts and delivered it on October the 13th at Fincantieri shipyard in Palermo, Italy. It is a $250 million project, to stretch and transform the yacht over a multi-year, that makes the project most complex and comprehensive renovation in the business with small ship cruising.
“We are thrilled to have all three of our yachts completely reimagined, from the new, more environmentally-friendly engines to the gorgeous new restaurant spaces, spacious suites, and romantic spas,” said Windstar President Christopher Prelog. “We couldn’t be happier with the results. Our passengers who are already sailing with us on these transformed yachts are raving, giving us higher customer experience scores than we’ve ever received in our company’s history.”
Windstar brings the world close enough, so the passengers can fully live it. Their goal is to make them feel like they’re on their own private yacht, to explore hidden beaches, sail into small ports and many more privileges that cruise ships cannot offer.
All three yachts (Star Pride, Star Breeze and Star Legend) have maximum capacity from 212 to 312 guests and additional dining experience, spa and fitness center and many other areas to enjoy.
Star Pride will remain in Italy until the yacht resumes guest operations in April in the Mediterranean.
