As the health situation related to COVID-19 continues to improve across the world, most cruise lines have started to relax the mask policy for the crew. Crew Center has talked to crew members working on several major cruise lines to find out what are the latest crew mask policies. Surprisingly most of them said that masks are now optional and not a requirement in all crew and guest areas.

Police board Norwegian Breakaway after reported assault

Massachusetts State Police boarded the cruise ship Norwegian Breakaway on Tuesday night after a reported assault occurred on board the vessel. The Norwegian Breakaway departure from Boston was delayed for more than five hours due to the police investigation.

A spokesperson from MSP said that the police boarded the ship to conduct the investigation at 9:55 p.m.
