The Greek ferry company Seajets is stepping into the cruise market, with its acquired cruise ship, formerly known as Costa Magica. The ship is now being refitted at Çanakkale İCDAS Shipyard in Turkey. Initially renamed Mykonos Magic, it will soon take on the name "Goddess of Night" under the new start-up cruise line, Neonyx Cruises.
This initiative is part of Seajets’ broader strategy to develop a cruise division, by their recent efforts in hiring crew and coordinating with port authorities. The ship is set to sail under Neonyx Cruises, a new company planning to offer adult-only trips around the Mediterranean. While the full details of the itineraries are not yet public, the ship is expected to visit popular destinations like Piraeus, Santorini, Mykonos, and Cesme, according to the cruise line’s website.
The first image of the ship with its new name, "GODDESS OF NIGHT," hints at Neonyx Cruises’ plans to target a young, dynamic guest who are looking to combine relaxation and party. The focus is on high-class DJs, interactive shows and entertainment program with artists, singers, dancers and acrobats.
