The cruise ship employee who was the subject of a missing person alert after he failed to return back onboard Norwegian Pearl was located by Victoria police, and he is safe. Lloyd Takana age 36, was reported missing on June 2, when he disembarked while the cruise ship was in Victoria, British Columbia. Ships officers notified the local authorities that one of their employees failed to return to the ship before the NCL Pearl set sail at midnight.
Victoria Police Department turned to the public asking for help in locating Lloyd Takana, saying that he may have been in the downtown Victoria area that night. After nine days searching for the missing person, Police have finally found Lloyd on June 11.
