Two Costa Cruise Ships To Be Transferred To Carnival's New Chinese Cruise Line

Carnival Corporation announced today the signing of a joint venture with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), leading to a new cruise line named “CSSC Carnival Cruise Shipping Limited”. The new China-based cruise operator will start sailing with two cruise ships currently operated by Costa Cruises. Costa Atlantica, 85.861 tons and 2,210 total passengers ship, will be transferred to the new cruise company by the end of 2019.

Carnival Horizon Hits Pier at Manhattan Cruise Terminal

The cruise ship Carnival Horizon hit Pier 90 this morning in New York City while performing a docking maneuver at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal.. According to Carnival Cruise Line statement, no one was hurt by the collision, and the cruise ship sustained minor damages. Part of the parking garage and two support beams were damaged by the crash.

Indian Crew Member Dies Onboard Carnival Horizon

It is with great sadness and sorrow we announce the death of our fellow crew member Ravi Singh Bisht. Ravi was part of the Carnival Cruise Line team since 2012, working in the Culinary Arts department. He sadly passed away onboard the cruise ship Carnival Horizon on August 11, 2018. Ravi leaves behind his family and his beautiful fiancée. They were engaged in July this year, just before Ravi joined the cruise ship for another contract.

Carnival Fascination Crew Member Found Dead In His Cabin

Authorities in Puerto Rico are investigating the death of a man onboard the cruise ship Carnival Fascination. According to the police report, the man was identified as the 22-year-old Serbian national, Nikola Arnautovic. The young man who was part of Carnival Fascination crew was found hanged in his cabin on the Carnival Cruise Line cruise ship Fascination on Sunday at around  10.41 am (14.41 GMT) after the vessel docked at Pier 4 in San Juan.

Carnival Triumph to be Renamed Carnival Sunrise

Carnival Cruise Line announced today a multimillion rebranding of their cruise ship Carnival Triumph. The vessel will undergo a major transformation during a 60-day drydock scheduled for March 2019, at Navantia Shipyards in Cadiz, Spain. Carnival will invest nearly $200 million for Carnival Triumph makeover and the ship will be renamed to Carnival Sunrise.

Carnival Horizon scores 96 points on the first ever USPH inspection

Its official, the latest Carnival Cruise Line ship, Carnival Horizon passed its first-ever USPH (the United States Public Health) Inspection. CDC Officers boarded the vessel Yesterday, July 27, in the port of San Juan, Puerto Rico and after several hours inspection, the ship was awarded 96 out of 100 USPH points.
