A 46-year-old British woman was rescued after falling from the cruise ship Norwegian Star off the coast of Croatia, the country's coastguard reported. Croatian Coast Guard said the woman identified as Kay Longstaff was rescued 10 hours after falling into the Adriatic Sea some 45 nautical miles offshore - around 11.45 pm on Saturday.

Lloyd Takana age 36, was reported missing on June 2, when he disembarked while the cruise ship was in Victoria, British Columbia.

Victoria Police are searching for a missing crew member who failed to return to the cruise ship. The missing person is identified as 36-year-old Lloyd Takana who was working on the Norwegian Cruise Line cruise ship Norwegian Pearl. Ships officers notified the police that one of their employees failed to return to the ship after he disembarked in Victoria, British Columbia on June 2nd, 2018.

Family and friends of the cruise ship passenger Omar Almotairi, who went missing from Norwegian Spirit are searching for the truth behind his disappearance. They took to the social media and started legal actions in Spain in search for the 34-year-old Saudi national.

A small fire broke out in the incineration room during the current 15-Night Panama Canal from Miami voyage on Norwegian Bliss. Following the Code Bravo, firefighting teams were deployed on Deck 4 where ships waste incinerator room is located and quickly managed to put the fire down. 

Norwegian Cruise Line announced it will cancel this week stops in Hawaii. The cruise ship Pride of America which makes regular voyages around Hawaii will not make any stops this week because of “adverse conditions” on the island. The cruise line released a statement today saying that their cruise ship will not call in Hilo on Tuesday, instead will spend a day at sea.

A 25-year-old Norwegian Cruise Line crewmember was detained by Bermuda Authorities on May 2, for possession of Cannabis-infused mints. According to Royal Gazette, Ethan Crystal from New York, part of the Norwegian Escape crew was stopped and searched by Customs officers at Dockyard’s Heritage Wharf as he returned back to the cruise ship.
