Video: German Passenger Medevac from Mein Schiff

A 55 year-old German passenger was airlifted from the TUI cruise ship Mein Schiff in Greece on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. According to the press release the German national who was traveling on the Cruise ship near Samos and Ikaria, had cardiac problems. Ship’s Captain notified Greek authorities about the medical emergency. The Coast Guard reacted swiftly by sending Super Puma helicopter in order to transport the passenger to the hospital. The patient was transferred to the Cardiology Hospital in Samos, and is in stable condition.

Carnival Spirit rescues 2 female crew stranded on superyacht

A Carnival cruise ship has responded to the distress SOS signal send by the luxury superyacht Masteka 2, off the NSW mid north coast in Australia. According to the marine safety authority, in the early morning hours on Tuesday the superyacht, with six crew members on board, lost steering and started taking on water around 140 nautical miles from Port Macquarie.

Child Medevac on Aida Stella Cruise Ship

Spanish Coast Guard performed medical evacuation on a minor passenger aboard the German cruise ship Aida Stella, when the vessel was sailing 20 nautical miles off the coast of Mallorca. The command center dispatched rescue helicopter type Helimer 203. Crew conducted medical evacuation of a minor patient and the child together with the ships doctor was airlifted and taken to hospital in Espases, Spain.

Coast Guard suspends search for missing Carnival Ecstasy passenger

After covering more than 2,800 square miles over 43 hours span, the US Coast Guard suspended the search for Rina Patel. The 32-year-old woman sailing with her family aboard Carnival Ecstasy was last seen jumping from deck 11 aft on Wednesday. This tragic event occurred at around 2:30 a.m. while the ship was sailing 27 miles southwest of Freeport, Bahamas.

Greek Coast Guard Medevacs Woman From Mein Schiff 2

The Greek Coast Guard medevac a 30-year-old Russian woman from the TUI cruise ship Mein Schiff 2 on Monday night. After receiving a medical emergency call from the ships officers the Greek Coast Guard performed aerial medical evacuation with super puma helicopter. The operation took place when the ship was 45 nautical miles south of Kalamata, Greece. As shown in the video the helicopter landed two strains of the helicopter which then place the injured woman to a stretcher, and proceed the transfer to the helicopter.

Medical Emergency: Carnival Liberty Returns to Galveston

Carnival Liberty returned to its homeport Galveston, Texas just hours after the cruise ship departed on Monday. The medical emergency alarm was sounded for a three-year-old girl who slipped through the stairs rail and fell two decks. The incident happened on deck 14 when the family was posing for a pictures by the rail when their toddler fell two decks bellow. The girl was quickly transferred to the ship medical center for assessment, and due to seriousness of the injury the decision was made by the ships doctor for emergency treatment on land.
