Shekhar Grover is this year’s winner of Bacardi Legacy Global Cruise Cocktail Competition Finals. Representing Royal Caribbean International at the annual Bacardi Legacy finals Grover won this prestigious competition with his cocktail “The Royal Legacy”. He will receive $4,000 prize, and a chance to compete at the Bacardi Global Finals in Mexico City.

Crew members working for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. have received a Facebook message by fake accounts urging them to check for a bonus on their Salary @ Sea online payment system account. The message contains a link which once you click on it hackers have access to your account and can withdraw money or change your PIN.

The first ever amateur movie produced by a cruise ship crew member was released. The director of this modest movie entitled “Ghost of the Ocean” recorded it on board, without any budget, but with lots of love, passion, and help from his fellow coworkers. Behind this project is the Brazilian crew member Angelo Moraes, together with 60 crew members from around the world, who were part of the casting crew. This movie was completely directed, written, edited and filmed by Angelo Moraes.
