All Cruise Lines offer internet access for crewmembers by using Wi-Fi access and access from the onboard crew internet cafés. Unlike before when crew members had only access per minute, today cruise lines offer various packages such as Social media package and all internet access charged by Megabytes. Compared to the past years the prices had decreased and the internet speed has increased too.

Cruise Ship Crew responsible for spreading Norovirus between voyages?

A recent study released by the US Royal Society Open Science conducted on a cruise ship claims that the usual sanitation measures such as cleaning and isolating people affected by Norovirus, don't do much to protect existing and oncoming passengers and crew on board. A computer-based model of a norovirus outbreak on a cruise ship suggests that the crew could be responsible for spreading the bug between voyages to new passengers.

I originally saw this opportunity as a way to do a bit of traveling for 6 months, and earn some money at the side. 2017 was a tough year for the cruise industry regarding the sanitation inspections conducted by the United States Public Health Authorities. A record number of fifteen cruise ships fail to pass the inspection, however, on the other hand, many cruise ships passed with a perfect score of 100 points. Looking at the CDC inspection scores for 2017, we decided to do an analysis and find out what is the average score of each cruise line.

Following the analysis presented by InfoData, which shows how much the top 25 companies in the world earn per second, we decided to find out how much the biggest cruise companies in the world earn per minute. We collected data from the top 6 cruise corporations and compared their revenue in 2016. The combined revenue of the top 6 biggest cruise companies in the world is astonishing $65,354 per minute.
