Balinese Crew Celebrate Galungan and Kuningan on Cruise Ships

This year the Galungan celebration started on April 4, when bamboo poles decorated with young coconut leaf line all over Bali. On this day the Hindu followers from Bali celebrate the victory of Dharma over Adharma, marking the time when the ancestral spirits visit the Earth. As explained by a fellow crew member, this is “the day Balinese will celebrate the kindness of humanity.”

Flo Rida Banned from Norwegian Cruise Line?

G-Unit’s DJ Whoo Kid and the rapper Waka Flocka Flame are officially banned from Norwegian Cruise Line over a poop-related prank on Gronk’s Party Ship, the cruise hosted in February 2016, by New England Patriots star Rob Gronkowski. The Gronk cruise was on board Norwegian Pearl, and according to Whoo Kid, all celebrities from the VIP list are banned from NCL including Flo Rida, Redfoo, 3LAU, Sammy Adams, and Matt Riffe.

Azamara Club Cruises announces 2019 Itineraries with record 250 ports of call

Azamara Club Cruises, the boutique cruise line of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd, has unveiled the 2019 itineraries with a new record of 250 ports of call, 45 destinations will be visited for the first time. The new itineraries will cover 69 countries, with 94 overnights and will add a total of 145 stays later than eight in the afternoon in the port.

MSC Cruise Ship Hits Pier in Civitavecchia

Due to strong winds at the port of Civitavecchia today, MSC Magnifica hit the pier minutes after the cruise ship departed with new passengers. The collision was caused by rapid change of the wind speed – from 9 to 40 knots in less than a minute, pushing the 293-meter long vessel to the pier which sustained some damage to the portside. Watertight doors were closed, at the time of the accident and passengers were called to their muster stations as a precaution measure.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news that the Royal Caribbean crew member Norman DeCastro was lost at sea. Today, April 25, US Coast Guard has suspended its search for the missing crew member who vanished off the cruise ship Liberty of the Seas in the Gulf of Mexico.

Missing crew member Adriana Morales de Florencio found dead and buried

With deepest regret and sadness we share the news of the discovery of the dead body of Royal Caribbean crew member Adriana Morales de Florencio. Today – April 30 – 10 days after Adriana was reported missing on the Island of Bonaire, the body of the 24-year-old Royal Caribbean crew member was found buried on a beach.
