Fincantieri to Build New Ultra-Luxury Ship for Regent Seven Seas

Fincantieri has announced a new contract to construct an ultra-luxury cruise ship for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, part of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH), further deepening its partnership with one of the cruise industry’s leading groups.

The new vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2033 and will be the third ship in Regent’s new Prestige Class, following the debut of Seven Seas Prestige in 2026 and her sister ship, slated for 2030.

With a gross tonnage of 77,000 and a length of 257 meters, the new ship will accommodate approximately 822 guests, delivering one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in the cruise industry. Designed to blend timeless elegance with advanced sustainability features, the vessel will incorporate cutting-edge environmental technologies aligned with Fincantieri’s focus on innovation and eco-efficiency.

The collaboration between Fincantieri and NCLH stands among the most enduring in the sector. The Italian shipbuilder has already delivered 10 ships for NCLH brands—Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises—with 13 additional vessels currently on order across various segments.
