Captain Adriano Binacchi welcomes ATP Cup Tennis Players on Carnival Spirit

Captain Adriano Binacchi and it’s amazing crew welcomed the professional tennis players onboard Carnival Spirit, marking the launch of the ATP Cup. This special event took place on January 7, while Carnival Spirit was docked in Sydney Harbour, Australia. The Captain and its crew shared some fun with tennis players Jamie Murray, Bruno Soares, Milos Raonic, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Lucas Pouille, Diego Schwartzman and Nick Kyrgios during the Fast4 Tennis Launch held onboard.

Hundreds of crew members gathered at the Port Everglades pier and on the decks of the cruise ship MS Volendam to say farewell to their bellowed Master Captain Chris Turner. While he disembarked from his ship for the last time in Fort Lauderdale, the crew members of Volendam bid farewell to him with cheers, hugs and the whistle of the vessel! After 21 years’ service for Holland America Line Captain Chris Turner has finally retired on 18 January 2019.

Meet Ronnie Richard Pineer, TUI Cruises crew member from Nicaragua working as a bar waiter on the cruise ship Mein Schiff 2. In his free time on board, Ronnie makes amazing motorcycle models from recycled champagne covers, corks and wire. What other people see it as a waste Ronnie uses it to make a piece of art and gives these crafts as present to the guests.

Harlem Globetrotters try ship trick shots on RMS Queen Mary

The famous Harlem Globetrotters recently selected Cunard’s retired British ocean liner RMS Queen Mary as a playground for their latest trick shots. The famous ocean liner and once the largest ship the world had ever seen now sits in Long Beach, California, where Globetrotters made some amazing shots from the ship’s deck to the basketball hoop placed on the pier.
