Carnival Corporation’s Global Gaming division will hold a recruitment event in Brașov, Romania, as it searches for new employees for its shipboard casino operations.
The recruiting team will attend Târgul de Cariere on October 9 and 10, 2026.
Global Gaming said prospective candidates will be able to speak directly with recruiters, ask questions about shipboard life and learn about career opportunities inside Carnival Corporation’s cruise casinos.
Global Gaming describes itself as the world’s largest cruise ship casino operator. Its operations extend across more than 90 ships belonging to eight Carnival Corporation brands: Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, Costa Cruises, AIDA Cruises, P&O Cruises and Cunard.
The division recruits employees across four main categories: gaming, marketing, accounting and technical operations. Available positions can include casino dealers, cashiers, hosts, slot attendants, technicians, supervisors and casino managers.
Candidates interested in dealer positions are expected to demonstrate technical ability, knowledge of procedures, professional guest service and competence in games such as blackjack and roulette.
Other roles require different backgrounds. Casino cashiers, for example, need experience in cage operations, casino accounting or comparable banking work.
Working in a shipboard casino also involves responsibilities beyond gaming. Published Global Gaming job descriptions state that casino employees may be assigned safety-drill, port-manning or gangway duties when requested by the ship’s command. Employees must also be prepared to transfer between Carnival Corporation vessels when required.
Applicants should understand that shipboard casino work differs considerably from working ashore. Global Gaming says casino crew members normally share cabins with another employee and work as part of an international team while moving between ships and destinations.
The company says candidates are not charged for interviews or employment offers issued by Global Gaming or its approved recruitment partners.
