Rescue at Sea Award Goes to Carnival Ecstasy

Next Tuesday, at the annual ceremony on Capitol Hill the Awards For Rescue at Sea (AFRAS) will be presented to civilians and coastguardsmen who went beyond the call of duty to save mariners in distress. This year Carnival cruise ship’s crew is included, awarding their response to a yacht’s distress call and the performance of a successful rescue.

Since I have worked on land, I have attended so many focus groups related to large corporations and other government entities attempting to figure out how to maintain long term employees. Just as the cruise industry, I presently work in a high burnout profession where the turnaround is 5-10 years.

Carnival Corporation Named World's Best Employers of 2021 by Forbes

A worldwide independent survey among more than 150, 000 employees in 58 countries working full-or part-time was conducted by Forbes, which they used to determine The World’s Best Employers list. The participants anonymously answered questions, evaluated their current employer, showed their free will to recommend their company to close friends and family and graded their satisfaction of the working atmosphere, salary, potential promotions and other factors.

Carnival Cruise Line Announces Restart of 2 Ships in January and February 2022

Carnival Cruise Line announced plans for more ship restarts for January and February, as it works towards the return of its full fleet sailing from U.S. homeports in the spring of 2022. 17 ships is the total number by the end of the year with Carnival Sunshine restart from Charleston on 13th of January and Carnival Liberty from Port Canaveral on 11th of February. 

Carnival will allow all fully vaccinated crew independent shore leave in ports

Finally, the news we have all been waiting for since the resumption of cruising. It’s official, Carnival Cruise Line will allow all of its crew members who are fully vaccinated to go outside in any ports, at any time, for independent shore leave. This is such a great news for thousands of crew members currently onboard Carnival Cruise Line ships, who can finally step foot on land and enjoy the beautiful ports in the Caribbean, Mexico, and the Bahamas, as well as the US home ports.
