The artists that defined the 90’s will join the cruise ship Carnival Sensation for an unforgettable Hip-Hop and R&B party. Setting sail on January 11, 2018, from Miami to Key West & Cozumel, the four night’s party will feature Salt-N-Pepa, Coolio, Vanilla Ice, Backstreet, C+C Music Factory, Naughty by Nature, All 4 One, Biz Markie, and the list goes on.

Carnival Horizon Coin Ceremony Video Earns Coveted Telly Award

The premier global Telly Awards, honoring the best in TV and Cable, Digital and Streaming, and Non-Broadcast Productions has awarded the new Carnival Horizon video in the General Travel/Tourism category.  The video showcasing traditional coin ceremony for Carnival’s latest cruise ship Carnival Horizon was produced by Miami-based Bold Man and the Sea Media.

Thousands evacuated from Carnival Horizon after bomb scare

The Italian shipyard Fincantieri in Marghera was evacuated on Friday, May 26, due to a bomb scare on the latest Carnival cruise ship, Carnival Horizon. Device detected onboard wrapped in red tape with twisted wires connected to the red LED light, has triggered the alarm. The vessel which is under construction was evacuated at 3:30 p.m. after one worker noticed suspicious device leaning against a ladder on deck 4.

Carnival Liberty Chefs Create Largest Hamburger at Sea.

Celebrating National Hamburger Day, Carnival Cruise Line created the largest hamburger at sea onboard the cruise ship Carnival Liberty. The massive 300 pound Guy’s Burger was presented while the vessel was docked at Port Canaveral. Chef de Cuisine explained that the giant three-and-a-half-foot-wide hamburger consists of 200 pounds of meat, 50 pounds of cheese and toppings, as well as 50 pounds of flour to make the bun.

Man missing after fall from Carnival Victory off Cuba

The US Coast Guard launched a search operation on Wednesday morning for a 23-year-old man who fell off the Carnival Victory while the cruise ship was sailing 33 miles northwest of the Cuban shore. The missing person was identified as Brandon Paul, a resident of Floral City, Florida, who reportedly went overboard from the deck 8 off Carnival Victory at around 3 a.m. The cruise ship launched a search operation and contacted the Seventh Coast Guard District watchstanders.

Carnival Splendor returns to Miami after experiencing technical issue

Due to a technical issue affecting the maximum speed of Carnival Splendor, the vessel will cancel two stops and return to its homeport of Miami on Sunday. Splendor was on its way to St. Thomas when the ship lost propulsion. Carnival Cruise Line stated that the engine only had a technical defect, however some guests on board report that crew said at least one engine had failed completely.
