MSC Cruises has revealed the details of its exclusive partnership with the world leader in entertainment Cirque du Soleil. Starting from June 3, the first show specifically designed for MSC will premiere on MSC Meraviglia, the flagship of the latest generation state-of-the-art cruise ships. MSC Cruises and Cirque du Soleil partnership will bring new standards of entertainment at sea.
Brazilian Media reports that a man who was part of the MSC Magnifica crew died on Sunday evening. The cruise ship was docked in the Port of Santos when this tragic event occurred. Preliminary reports say that the man had cardiac arrest just moments before the ship docked in Santos. Mobile Emergency Team was dispatched to the vessel as soon as MSC Magnifica docked to provide first-aid CPR to revive the man, however he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Brazilian woman, part of the MSC Musica crew was reported missing yesterday juts before the cruise ship arrived in the port of Brindisi, Italy. Her disappearance was reported by her colleagues after she didn’t show up on duty at around 3:00 A.M. They immediately went to check into her cabin and noticed that the woman was not there. The crew searched staff areas and later extended the search in the passenger areas.
Prosecutor’s office in Brindisi has opened an investigation for murder in connection with the disappearance of the Brazilian crew member Simone Scheuer Souza, who was reported missing from the cruise ship MSC Musica while the vessel was sailing from Venice to Brindisi on 19 June 2017.
A body believed to be the missing Brazilian crew member Simone Scheuer Sousa was found on a beach near Udine, Italy by the Port Captaincy. Italian media reports that the body was found on Sunday, July 2, and was in advanced stage of decomposition. According to investigation sources, the person had the same clothes Simone wore the night she disappeared. Now authorities are waiting for the DNA tests for final identification of the person.

The regional court in Hamburg, Germany sentenced a 45-year-old Indian man working as a cabin steward on MSC Cruises. The crew member identified as Caetano D. confessed that in 2015 he had abused a 10-year-old boy on a Baltic cruise aboard MSC Orchestra, reports the German Magazine Bild.
A DNA test has confirmed that the body found off the coast of Lignano, Italy on July 2 belongs to the Brazilian crew member Simone Scheuer Sousa. The sad news was confirmed to "TV Globo" by Sousa family lawyer.
