Oceania Cruises Announces Refurbishment of Riviera and Marina

Oceania Cruises has announced subtle elements in the upcoming redesign of its Riviera and Marina ships with 1,210 guests. Debuting in December 2022 and November 2023, individually, Riviera and Marina will become what the line calls "better than new". Every surface of every stateroom and suite will be unused, while in the open spaces, the revived color palette will include modern textures, furniture and lighting fixtures.

Staterooms & Suites

Riviera and Marina‘s staterooms will be lighter, brighter, and roomier with a wall-to-wall reimagining. Custom-crafted decorations, intriguing stone, polished wood finishes, and designer accessories will include tastefulness and sophistication in a colour palette motivated by the ocean and sky.

Living and resting ranges will incorporate Italian marble, textures in tones of deserts and skies, curved tables, inconspicuous lighting, and perplexing millwork.

The bathrooms will be refurbished with unused elements and a spacious pantry, as well as huge showers.

Public Areas

Public regions will be totally upgraded, offering reimagined style and sophistication. 

The Grand Dining Room will incorporate a modern glistening chandelier, extravagant carpeting, and delicate calfskin armchairs. 

The seaside-inspired Terrace Café and Waves Grill offering barbecue will be overhauled, and there will be a new Trattoria featuring wood-fired pizzas and grilled Italian specialties. 

Polo Grill steakhouse will hold its wealthy calfskin chairs and wood panelling, but make big appearance new carpeting, wall coverings, and draperies. 

The Horizons bar will be completely reimagined, offering a lighter, brighter space.

Renovation Debut Sailings

After the redesign, the Riviera will make its debut once more on December 7, 2022, on a 16-night transoceanic voyage through the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Caribbean from Rome to Miami. 

From Miami, the ship will start a schedule of its well-known Caribbean travels from seven to 14 nights from Miami for one final season before returning to Europe in late March 2023. Afterward, in 2023 and early 2023, the Riviera will head to the Middle East and Asia for the first time. 

Marina will make its debut once more after the renovation on November 13, 2023, on a seven-night voyage from Barcelona to Lisbon. From there, he will head over the Atlantic to Miami, where he will begin his annual season in South America on December 3.

The Rest of the Fleet

In addition to Riviera and Marina, Oceania’s four 656-guest vessels have also been renovated. Insignia debuted her redesigns for her 2019 Around the World in 180 Days voyage, taken after without further ado after by Regatta and Sirena within the same year. Nautica just recently re-entered service after an upgrade on April 1, 2022. Details on the 2024 itineraries for the whole Oceania Cruises armada will be discharged within the coming weeks.
