Princess Cruises Marks Year-Round Voyages from Los Angeles

Princess Cruises, the longest-running cruise line operating out of the Port of Los Angeles – is offering an all-new summer season of round-trip cruises from Los Angeles in 2023. This will be the line's first-ever summer season to Mexico, Hawaii, and the Coast of California, with Emerald Princess sailing on a series of voyages ranging from five to 16 days between May and August 2023.

Sami Kohen Named Vice President of Food & Beverage at Princess Cruises

Princess Cruises announced the appointment of Sami Cohen to the position of Vice President of Food and Beverage. Sami is a distinguished food and beverage professional with extensive culinary experience across a wide range of cruise, travel and hospitality brands. Cohen will join Princess on August 29 and will report directly to President John Padgett.

As the health situation related to COVID-19 continues to improve across the world, most cruise lines have started to relax the mask policy for the crew. Crew Center has talked to crew members working on several major cruise lines to find out what are the latest crew mask policies. Surprisingly most of them said that masks are now optional and not a requirement in all crew and guest areas.

Carnival Corporation to Roll Out Starlink on Cruise Ships Across its Global Fleet

Carnival Corporation has signed a deal for SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service and is already rolling out high-speed connectivity on Carnival Cruise Line and AIDA Cruises ships. Carnival announced today plans to install Starlink on almost 100 cruise ships sailing for Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, P&O Australia, Costa Cruises, P&O Cruises, and Cunard.
