Brawl breaks out on Navigator of the Seas

A brawl has broken out on the Royal Caribbean ship Navigator of the Seas during the last week’s cruise. The fight between dozen of young passengers started at the Café Promenade on Deck 5. A video of the brawl shows a chaotic scene as people punch and push each other, while several security officers try to break up the fight. Fortunately, it doesn’t look like anyone sustained serious injuries from the incident.

Barbados Tourism Marketing in partnership with the Royal Caribbean Group hosted a three-day national recruitment drive in Barbados. The job fair was organized as part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by both sides in April at Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami; its purpose is to create opportunities for high-quality employment in the local tourism industry of Barbados.

“Stop Cruises” activists block Marseille port entrance, Wonder of the Seas and MSC Orchestra arrival delayed 2 hours

This morning about 20 activists from the “Stop Cruises” movement attempted to block the entrance of the Wonder of the Seas and MSC Orchestra at the port of Marseille in France. The activists on inflatable canoes blocked the cruise ships from entering the port for two hours.

Royal Caribbean plans to add Starlink next generation high-speed internet on cruise ships

Royal Caribbean Group is looking to adopt SpaceX’s next-generation high-speed satellite internet system Starlink onboard its ships. Starlink is a high-speed broadband Internet service from SpaceX that connects to the constellation Low Earth Orbit (LEO). SpaceX intends to provide affordable internet with sustainable speeds anywhere and anywhere in the world.

Royal Caribbean International announced that the entire fleet is back in service! This is thanks to amazing and talented crew members. The final cruise ship to restart, Rhapsody of the Seas has rounded out fleet after her dry dock with her first revenue sailing on May 23. 

Harmony of the Seas hits dock extension in Falmouth, Jamaica

Royal Caribbean International's Harmony of the Seas hit the dock extension as it entered Jamaica's Falmouth Harbor on Thursday. The incident happen just hours after a Carnival Cruise ship caught fire in Grand Turk.

Royal Caribbean said that the damage on the ship was small and that it would not affect the current sailing.
